Snow on its way for southern Manitoba Tuesday, Wednesday

Spring has sprung, but that doesn't mean the end of snow just yet.

Environment Canada released a statement Sunday night saying the southern part of Manitoba should expect intense weather Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The entire part of the province south of Dauphin, The Interlake and Bissette could see significant snow fall. Environment Canada says there is disagreement between forecasting models at the moment, so in the end Manitoba may not get pummelled. That said, we are still likely to see some snow late Tuesday night and early Wednesday.

On Sunday morning temperatures hovered around –9 C, but temperatures warmed to about zero in the early afternoon. Snow is also expect to fall Sunday night in Winnipeg.

A light wind will blow through Winnipeg Monday evening and a high of 2 C is expected.
