Someone fired a gun at an NC police headquarters. Now, officers are on their trail.

A person shot at the Albemarle police headquarters on West South Street around 5:15 a.m. Sunday morning, a department press release said.

No one was injured.

Police in the city about 35 miles east of Charlotte said they have identified a “person of interest,” but did not announce an arrest.

The department did not immediately respond to questions on Monday.
