Sharing a photo on Instagram of herself in costume as Ada Shelby with her newborn son lying next to her in a behind-the-scenes snap from the BBC crime epic, Rundle admitted it was the "most exhausting and challenging" thing she'd ever done, but had no regrets about seeing it out.

In the picture, the actor is changing her son's nappy in what she describes as a "sleep deprived and slightly delirious" state, sharing her sadness that the show has now ended after six series.
