The actress' outing on Wednesday comes two days after she and estranged husband Joe Jonas agreed to temporarily keep their two daughters in New York amid their divorce filings
Sophie Turner is making a style statement with her mom jeans.
The Game of Thrones alum, 27, was spotted wearing the casual pair of high-waisted, retro wash blue denim pants on a stroll through Tribeca in New York City on Wednesday with fellow actress Olivia Dejonge.
Turner paired her light wash jeans with a black cropped tee and trendy sneakers. She accessorized her street style look with black shades, gold hoop earrings and a Louis Vuitton handbag.
Her look contrasted her pal's completely — with Dejonge bundling up for the chilly New York fall temperatures in a sweatshirt, pants and scarf. Both actresses wore their long hair down and loose while they walked down the sidewalk.
The X-Men actress’ public outing comes two days after she and estranged husband Joe Jonas agreed to temporarily keep their daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 14 months, in New York, according to documents filed in New York and obtained by PEOPLE.
The interim consent order — which both parties consented to — states that Turner and Jonas, 34, are ordered to keep their kids in the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, which includes New York City, Long Island and the Hudson Valley, after the pair's contention over custody in courts in both Miami and England.
Last week, Turner sued her ex for alleged wrongful retention of their daughters, claiming that Jonas was withholding their passports and not allowing them to return to England.
The complaint against Jonas called for the immediate return of her children, with Turner's legal team asserting the "wrongful retention" began on Sept. 20.
Shortly after Turner filed her complaint, Jonas released a statement obtained by PEOPLE disputing her claims and saying that he believed the two had reached an agreement to work on a co-parenting plan.

His statement read, in part, "After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case."
The statement also alleged that Turner was "aware" that Jonas was "going to file for divorce" and was additionally made aware that neither parent could relocate the children. However, according to the statement, Turner allegedly told Jonas she wanted to "take the children permanently to the UK."
"Thereafter, [Turner] demanded via this filing that Joe hand over the children’s passports so that she could take them out of the country immediately," the statement concluded.
Jonas and Turner tied the knot in 2019 after nearly three years of dating. At the time of their split, each posted a joint statement to their social media accounts that announced the end of their four-year marriage.
