Winter has come and gone for Sophie Turner. The Game of Thrones actress was photographed taking in the summer sun as she strolled around a park in Studio City, California, with hubby Joe Jonas. And as a mother-to-be in the middle of a pandemic, it appears the full-on Louis Vuitton ensembles she pulls out for premieres and other red-carpet events (remember those?) is seemingly tucked away in the back of her closet.
For this leisure adventure outdoors, Turner wore a white tee under a powder-pink babydoll dress by Honorine. Indeed, she picked the ideal silhouette: roomy, light, and perfect for a growing baby bump. She accessorized her look with fuzzy slippers by Carvela Kurt Geiger, sunglasses by Le Specs, and a face mask in a pink-and-blue leopard print.
Turner’s sartorial choices weren’t flashy, nor were they particularly fashun-y, but they sure do look comfortable—which is perhaps the defining characteristic of street style in 2020. That, and safety, of course. There was no taking off her face covering in a public park.
Lately, celebrities including Tracee Ellis Ross and Jennifer Aniston have taken to their social media platforms to promote the #WearADamnMask challenge, a campaign that encourages fans to cover up when leaving their homes so as to taper the spread of COVID-19. And though Turner hasn’t posted anything in regard to the challenge yet, she is clearly following protocol—and doing so with some style. All hail the Queen of the North!
