Sorry to Break It to Ya, but It Looks Like Lady Gaga Skipped the Grammy Awards Tonight

• Gaga just might be rehearsing for her pre–Super Bowl performance in Miami.

IDK about y’all, but I am feeling pretty cheated right now. Not only did Taylor Swift skip the Grammy Awards (*sob*), but it looks like Lady Gaga decided to follow her lead too. She was literally nowhere to be found at the Staples Center tonight.

Some of Gaga’s most memorable, iconic performances have happened at awards shows (remember her 2009 VMAs performance???), but don’t worry—I know I’m asking for a lot there. I’m upset because we haven’t even been given a single five-second flash of her face on the screen. She’s not in the room at all! This is the first time in five (5) years that she hasn’t attended. So let’s try to figure out where the heck she is. Get out your magnifying glasses and legal spyware.

Last night, Gaga tweeted about her upcoming performance for Super Saturday Night on February 1. In case you didn’t know, it’s a pretty major performance she’s doing the day before the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is taking place in Miami, and I’m betting Gaga’s lack of attendance tonight is because she has to practice for next week’s performance.

I suppose Gaga could be doing anything else tonight. Maybe she’s practicing for the Super Saturday Night. Or maybe she’s sitting at home and watching the whole shebang from the comfort of her couch and eating takeout. (Just me?)
