Not buried
A headline says “Winter storm buries Mississippi Coast”. So far, I measure about 4+ inches in Biloxi at 5 p.m. We’ve gotten more snow than this on Memorial Day weekend at our place in Colorado. President’s Day weekend in 1976 in the D.C. area, we got a couple of feet. I’d call that burying. Snow? Yes.. Hazardous roads? Yes. Buried? No.
Wow!
What a surprise we had on Tuesday. It was the finest example of Global Warming ever. I will never doubt the news media again. But if it was global warming, I sure as heck don’t want to see what global freezing looks like.
Laken Riley
With all the electronic and print media in the state of Mississippi, will just one ask Rep. Bennie Thompson to explain his vote against the Laken Riley Act? Since the answer is no, I will do it for them. Rep. Thompson has no spine and is a lockstep yes man in the Social Democrat party. That is why he got a preemptive pardon from President Biden. That is also why he will lose in his next rubber-stamp election cycle. The Delta deserves better than this. Mississippi deserves better.
Now what?
All you MAGAs who fly your black and blue flags and have bumper stickers of same ilk for law and order, and to back police and law enforcement, what ya’ gonna’ do now with Trump’s pardons of 1,500+ convicted criminals who attacked, terrorized, maimed, and tortured all those Capitol police and others?
Law and order?
President Trump just did the Jan. 6 rioters a huge favor by pardoning them. What huge favor is he going to do for the police who were doing their sworn duty to protect the Capitol and Congress yet were terrorized, traumatized, and brutalized by the rioters?
Pardons
Between Biden and Trump, the crooks had a good day on Monday.
We saw it, Elon
Elon Musk was taped giving a Nazi salute at President Trump’s Inauguration. Now he says liberals are making it up and using the Hitler reference as a smear tactic. They need to stop doing stupid things while on camera instead of insisting we didn’t see what we saw.
