Guard Devin Booker has signed a five-year, $158 million maximum contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Booker, 21, is one of the NBA’s elite young scorers and his extension cements his status as a major piece of the Suns’ franchise.
Booker averaged 24.9 points, 4.7 assists and 4.5 rebounds in his third season with Phoenix and shot 38.3 percent from 3-point range. He was the No. 13 overall pick by the Suns in 2015.
