South Korea opposition will not seek to impeach acting president over martial law
SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's main opposition Democratic Party has decided not to seek the impeachment of Prime Minister Han Duck-soo over the Dec. 3 declaration of martial law, party leader Lee Jae-myung said on Sunday.
Han was made acting president on Saturday after President Yoon Suk Yeol was impeached for his decision to impose martial law. (This story has been refiled to correct the date to Dec. 3 in paragraph 1, and to remove the date in paragraph 2)
