SpaceX raises additional $250 million, totaling $2 billion in 2022 funding
Elon Musk's SpaceX was able to raise another quarter-billion dollars, though did not disclose the source of its funding.

DAVE BRIGGS: Elon Musk's SpaceX raising $250 million in funding, bringing the rocket company's total to $2 billion for the year. SpaceX not disclosing the source of the new funding, nor a change in its valuation, but noted that it came from five investors. The company has been raising a lot of capital to fund two cash-intensive projects, its global satellite network Starlink and its next rocket named Starship. The Starship program is working toward its first attempt to reach orbit. Musk tweeted earlier this week that the milestone, quote, "is probably between one and 12 months from now."
