Workers at the the Lafarge cement plant in St-Constant in the Montérégie region have gone on strike following nine rounds of failed contract negotiations.
The plant's 68 workers began picketing Saturday.
They have been without a collective agreement since last Sept. 30, 2015.
The issue of workers' pensions is one of the main reasons for stalled talks.
