Steve Nash: Canada's greatest basketball player

With the news that Steve Nash will not play this season because of a back injury, it's possible that the best Canadian basketball player of all time has appeared in his last NBA game.

If that's true, the Victoria native will finish No. 3 on the NBA's all-time assists list, and as the most accurate free-throw shooter in league history.

Nash will also be remembered among hoops aficionados for his superb orchestration of the Phoenix Suns' famed Seven Second Or Less offence, one of the most entertaining ever seen.
