Steven Tyler’s Latest Girlfriend Is Younger Than Most of His Daughters

As sure as the sun rises and sets, rich old men will fall in love with beautiful young women — as Steven Tyler can attest.
The Aerosmith frontman, 67, was photographed holding hands with 28-year-old dark-haired beauty Aimee Ann Preston. The photo — which is just making the rounds now, but was snapped at Elton John’s Oscar party on Feb. 28 — shows the polished pair walking side by side at the A-list event. They appear so in sync that they, um, seem to be wearing the same nail polish.
Preston is Tyler’s “assistant.” We put that in quotes because they’ve been linked since way back in 2014 when they were caught snuggling in the sand on a Maui beach. This hand-holding photo, however, is their first open bit of PDA at a Hollywood event.
Preston rarely tweets and keeps her Instagram private. One photo she did share though appears to be Steven — hello curly locks! — napping with his dog.
The twice-divorced Tyler was previously in a relationship with Erin Brady, whom he ended his engagement to in 2013. A Clear Channel Communications employee, Brady was 25 years Tyler’s junior. Practically a senior citizen!
For the record, Preston — who is 39 years Tyler’s junior — is younger than two of Tyler’s daughters: Liv, 38, and Mia, 37. She’s one year older than the rock star’s baby girl, Chelsea, who’s 27. (The singer also has a son, Taj, 25.)
But, as they say, age is a difference of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.
