Steven Van Zandt talks about life in lockdown for online series from Bruce Springsteen Archives

E Street is a busy avenue this week.

Little Steven Van Zandt will appear on “What’s Up on E Street?,” the new online series presented by the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University in New Jersey. The episode debuts at 10 a.m. EDT Tuesday, Aug. 4, via the Bruce Springsteen Archives website and Facebook page.

The series, created and hosted by music historian Bob Santelli, highlights the individual members of the E Street Band and how they're dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As you’ll hear in my conversation with Steve Van Zandt, he has been anything but inactive during the COVID pandemic,” said Santelli in a statement. “Although frustrated with the state of things, Steve continues to find ways to express himself musically and remain committed to the power of rock 'n' roll.”
