Stolen truck crashes into Lethbridge house causing $200K in damage

Lethbridge police are on the hunt for two suspects after a stolen truck crashed into a west-side home early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the 300 block of Laval Boulevard after a GMC Sierra smashed into a house around 2 a.m.

No one was injured in the collision and witnesses told police they saw two people, a man and a woman, run from the truck toward a nearby grassy area.

An investigation by police determined the truck had been stolen out of Calgary. Police noted before striking the house, the vehicle hit three parked cars and a fence, causing more than $200,000 in total damage.

The male suspect is described as a stocky white man, around five feet 10 inches tall, wearing a white tuque and red lumberjack-style jacket with a grey hood.

The female suspect is described as a heavy-set white or Indigenous woman with short black hair.
