It's officially fall! This month celebrates everyone's favourite spooky holiday, Halloween, which calls for a fun selection of family-friendly picks to binge on.
Netflix is bringing some stellar original thrillers to keep you perched cozily on your couch. Premiering this month is the TIFF film "The Guilty" starring Jake Gyllenhaal. It is an intense thriller that has already received rave reviews. The streamer is also bringing back the highly anticipated season three of "You."
Amazon Prime Video has a selection of new original horror films from Blumhouse for Halloween, including "Bingo Hell" and "Black as Night." The streamer is also bringing fans a reboot of the classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer" as a new series.
Disney+ will offer viewers a chance to catch up on the critically acclaimed Marvel movie "Black Widow," starring Scarlett Johansson, while fans will also get to watch the award-winning "The Body Remembers When The World Broke Open" on Crave later this month.

The Guilty
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film follows 911 operator Joe Baylor (Jake Gyllenhaal), who receives a strange call from a woman and realizes she's in grave danger. However, he soon discovers that nothing is as it seems, and facing the truth might be his only option to redeem himself. Streams Oct. 1.
You: Season 3
In Season 3, Joe (Penn Badgley) and Love (Victoria Pedretti) are now married and raising their baby. They moved to Northern California, where they’re surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers and Insta-famous biohackers. Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad, but fears Love’s lethal impulsiveness. Streams Oct. 15.
Army of Thieves
This prequel is set six years before the events of Netflix's summer hit “Army of the Dead” and follows the world's finest safecracker, Ludwig Dieter (Matthias Schweighöfer). He is hired by a woman (Nathalie Emmanuel) to break into Europe’s most secure safes along with a group of misfits. Streams Oct. 29.
Colin in Black & White
This limited drama series from Colin Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay explores Kaepernick's formative high school years navigating race, class and culture and the experiences that led him to become an activist. Streams Oct. 29.

I Know What You Did Last Summer
This horror series is a modern take on the 1997 slasher film and has the same premise as the movie. On graduation night, a group of teenagers get into a fatal accident and are stalked by a mysterious killer a year later. The series stars Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman and Ashley Moore. Streams Oct. 15.
Bingo Hell
"Bingo Hell" follows a feisty senior citizen (Adriana Barraza) who fights to protect her neighbourhood from an evil force that’s taken over the local bingo hall and is killing the residents. Streams Oct. 1.

The Manor

Invasion
Created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil, "Invasion" follows five people across the world as Earth is visited by an alien species that threatens humanity. The science-fiction drama stars Shamier Anderson, Golshifteh Farahani, Sam Neill, Firas Nassar and Shioli Kutsuna. Streams Oct. 22.

The Body Remembers When The World Broke Open
Written and directed by Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers and Kathleen Hepburn, the film follows a woman (Tailfeathers) who decides to bring a pregnant domestic abuse victim home and encourages her to seek help to navigate the aftermath of the traumatic event. Streams Oct. 19.
