Alex Scott has unveiled her new hair transformation.

The footballer-turned-TV presenter showed off her new blonde hairdo on the red carpet at a Paris Fashion Week event.

Before the event, former Strictly contestant Alex teased it with a mini-reveal on her Instagram Stories, uploading a few videos of herself getting ready with the aid of a hair and makeup team.

"Oh, we've gone lighter," Alex said, before wondering what they should call the new colour and style.

In addition to her role as part of the BBC's Euro 2024 presenting team, this year has seen Football Focus host Alex go official with her girlfriend, singer-songwriter Jess Glynne.

She's also embarking on a new career path by joining KISS radio's line-up of presenters.

Following a successful stint on last year's KISSTORY All-Stars series, Alex is now hosting Super KISSTORY on KISS every Sunday evening.

When the news was first announced, Alex promised listeners that she would be "digging into my collection to share more Old Skool and anthems every Sunday".

She added: "I'm hoping to carry on those weekend vibes all the way into Sunday night and setting everyone up for the new week."

Alex previously took to the dancefloor herself in the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing, and finished in a very respectable fifth place after 11 weeks of fierce competition.

The line-up for this year's 20th anniversary series is set to be announced next month, and Shirley Ballas reckons it's going to be an incredibly strong selection of celebs.

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
