Strictly's Layton Williams talks "extra pressure" ahead of Musicals week
Strictly Come Dancing spoilers follow.
Layton Williams has opened up about the "extra pressure" on him and partner Nikita Kuzmin ahead of Strictly's Musicals Week.
In Week 10, Layton and Nikita found themselves in the dreaded dance off against Angela Scanlon and her partner Carlos Gu, narrowly saving themselves from elimination following an American Smooth to 'It's Oh So Quiet' by Björk.
It's that placement and Layton's musical theatre background – alongside dancing to a remixed version of Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' – that has put some "extra pressure" on the star for Musicals Week.
"Being in the bottom, there's pressure to come back stronger," he told host and former I'm a Celeb star Fleur East on Strictly spinoff It Takes Two (November 28).

"But the fact that it's Musical Week, and that's lowkey my thing, I need to deliver. But I feel like we've got a good one. I don't want to say too much."
Nikita also shared his point of view going forward: "After the dance off, the best mindset to have is just thinking week-by-week; we have our routine now, this is the one we want to push on.
"Obviously everyone wants to get to the end, everybody wants to win... but really, honestly, we are thinking week by week now."
He concluded by reminding viewers that there are only five couples in the 2023 series left.
After exiting the competition, TV presenter Angela paid tribute to her partner Carlos and the experience at large: "It's honestly been incredible, I'm gutted, really gutted that it's finished now, but it has been the most wonderful experience."
She added: "I have made the best friend in [Carlos]. We have had so much fun, he is such an incredible guy. He has supported me and picked me up and made me laugh so much."
Strictly's grand finale is set for Saturday, December 16.
