Student’s Appeal To Find ‘Hot Guy’ She Kissed Backfires When His GIRLFRIEND Replies
A pretty student who thought she had met the man of her dreams was shocked when his girlfriend responded to a Facebook appeal to find him - and DUMPED him online.
Pippa McKinney admitted she felt “gutted” after she found out the “hot guy” she shared a few kisses with on a birthday night out in Manchester turned out to have a girlfriend already.
However, Matty Steven, the “hot guy” in question, has publicly hit back at her claims - and promised to reveal “the truth”.
He wrote on Facebook: “This has gone way past a joke I have tried to stay quiet but I think it’s about time people get my side… The truth!
“How many times has this story changed!? Fame seeker, a lier and a very strange girl!! This is a major setup! Watch this space! #shameforfame[sic]”
Pippa, 22, exchanged numbers with Matty after their flirty meeting and he is even said to have asked her back to a hotel with him or “his mum’s house” before the pair separated for the night.
When Pippa woke up the next morning, she realised she had written down “stunning” Matty’s number wrong and asked Facebook to help find him, posting a picture of the pair kissing.
However, Matty’s furious girlfriend saw the picture and messaged Pippa before publicly dumping her boyfriend online.
Pippa said that she was “gutted” after believing her and Matty had “clicked” on their night out.
She said: I felt really embarrassed, especially once the post went viral. I feel embarrassed for his girlfriend too as this is not her fault.
“Whenever I go out I feel like people are looking at me now as it seems everyone has heard about what happened. I just thought he was a really nice guy but I was obviously wrong.”
Pippa admits to feeling sorry for Matty but said he should “face the consequences” of his actions.
She insisted she had no idea he had a girlfriend, adding: “I have been getting lots of abuse from people too but at the end of the day I was innocently looking for a lad I liked who I thought was single - I didn’t do anything wrong…
"It never crossed my mind that he might have a girlfriend because he kept telling me he was single.
“If I’d known he had a girlfriend I wouldn’t be standing there talking to him let alone looking for him on Facebook.”
Pippa claims that Matty told her he didn’t remember anything from the night and called him “deluded” after he dismissed her story.
