Stun gun and knife found on Wake student after fight between periods, high school says
Extra security is at Enloe High School in Raleigh after the school says a student was found with a knife and electric stun gun on Monday.
In a message sent by the school, Enloe says two students were involved in a fight Monday morning in the West Building during the transition period between class changes.
The two students were quickly separated and taken to the main office, where the weapons were found in the possession of one of the students. The school says the weapons were confiscated and placed in a secure location.
Additional law enforcement was on campus Monday afternoon. The officers will be back Tuesday “out of an abundance of caution,” according to the school. Enloe is located off Clarendon Crescent in east Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, juvenile petitions have been filed and the incident is under investigation.
