The Emmy winner also honored Breonna Taylor with her ensemble at the 2020 ceremony. She first wore her Phenomenal Woman T-shirt on Instagram, to demand justice for Taylor, then switched things up on Sunday by wearing the shirt backwards, to show Taylor's face and the words "SAY HER NAME" in capital letters.

"It’s been 150 days since Breonna Taylor was murdered in her sleep by Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove — and her killers have not been charged. Too often Black women who die from police violence are forgotten," King wrote on Instagram.

"Let’s stay loud, keep demanding justice for Breonna and her family, and SAY HER NAME. This campaign and T-shirt was created by @phenomenal in partnership with the Breonna Taylor Foundation, to which all profits will be donated," she continued.

Sterling took the stage to present during the Emmys wearing a Black Lives Matter tee under a black suit jacket. He kept his statement-making style going strong by accessorizing with a vote-emblazoned face mask, which he showed off on Instagram.

What fans may have missed while admiring the Insecure star's dazzling Azzi & Osta red one-shoulder sequin gown at the 2020 Emmys was the powerful statement she made with her quarantine buzz cut — she shaved the Black Lives Matter symbol into her hair.

"NUFF✊🏾SAID🖤," she wrote in an Instagram pic of the look.

Thanks to the "Protect the Court" sign behind the GLOW actress and her Lingua Franca vote tee (which was embroidered with the words "Biden/Harris" on the inside of the collar!) viewers got her message loud and clear.

The nominee even added a Jennifer Meyer "vote" necklace for a nice finishing touch to her 2020 Emmys look.

The Watchmen creator dedicated his Emmy (the show won Outstanding Limited Series) to the victims and survivors of the Tulsa Massacre of 1921.

"I would be remiss if we didn’t recognize all the men and women who died in the Tulsa Massacre in 1921, the original sin of our show," Lindelof said in his acceptance speech. "This country neglects and forgets its own history at its own peril often and we should never forget that."

The series, which is set 34 years after the events that occur within the comic book series, focuses on racist violence in Tulsa Oklahoma in 2019.
