Summer-like weather arrives in Saskatchewan

Now this is more like it.

Temperatures could be well above 20 C around much of the province Tuesday — and perhaps even warmer on Wednesday.

Regina's high is expected to be 20 today and 22 tomorrow. In Saskatoon, it's a high of 20 today and 23 tomorrow.

Around Swift Current and Maple Creek, it could hit 24 today.

The northwest will be on the warm side, too, with Meadow Lake expecting to see 23.

Meanwhile, there's lot of sunshine and a UV index of 6 is expected.

That means people should take precautions, such as wearing a hat and covering up, if outside.

A sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher is recommended.
