Sunny, warm end of August in Winnipeg's weather forecast

It'll still feel like summer as the month of August winds down today.

Winnipeggers can expect a mix of sun and cloud on Wednesday morning, followed by mainly sunny skies in the afternoon, with a daytime high of 24 C, says CBC meteorologist John Sauder.

Thursday is shaping up to feel more summery, with a forecasted high of 27 C and a mix of sun and cloud, but Sauder says there's a catch — it'll be windy that day, too.

Winnipeg forecast:
