Virgin River Season 6: See the Gorgeous First Footage from Mel and Jack’s Wedding

Happy holidays, indeed! Netflix has announced that Virgin River will premiere season six this December with all 10 episodes dropping at once. (Last year, there were 10 episodes in season five, plus two bonus holiday episodes, which aired following the Thanksgiving holiday.)
For a while, it looked like the new season of Virgin River wouldn’t premiere until early 2025, given that the writers’ and actors’ strikes of 2023 pushed production back by months. Filming for season six wrapped in late spring 2024.
With the news of Virgin River’s upcoming premiere date (Thursday, December 19, to be exact), Netflix released new photos of the season, which show a very pregnant Lizzie, a solemn-looking Muriel (with Cameron!), and, of course, our central couple, Mel and Jack.
To add to the excitement, the streamer has now unveiled the teaser trailer for Mel and Jack’s upcoming wedding, which features some very entertaining pre-wedding festivities. Take a look.
We also have new photos of Mel and Jack, which we have to say are a huge improvement over the solemn looking one we first got last week. Take a look:
Netflix also released the official key art to the season, which features Mel’s gorgeous veil against the backdrop of Virgin River.
