Suspect forces victim into own vehicle at gunpoint. Haltom police investigating
Haltom City police are asking for public assistance in an investigation involving a suspect in an armed kidnapping and robbery.
Officers were contacted by another police agency and reported the offense that started in Haltom City on Tuesday morning, police said in a release
The victim was walking to their vehicle, which was parked at an apartment complex in Haltom City, when the suspect approached and forced the person into the vehicle at gunpoint, police said.
The suspect drove to a nearby city and released the victim but took off in the vehicle, police said.
Police said the investigation will continue until the suspect is identified and the vehicle is recovered. Anyone with information is urged to contact detective Key at 817-222-7034 or dkey@haltomcitytx.com.
