Suspect arrested after man stabbed outside Tim Hortons

Toronto police say a man was stabbed repeatedly during a physical altercation that occurred outside a Tim Hortons restaurant on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012.

Toronto police have found a suspect they were seeking in an alleged attempted murder.

Police say that a man was stabbed repeatedly in the neck and body this weekend outside a Tim Hortons restaurant near College Street and Spadina Avenue.

The altercation occurred at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday morning, putting a 32-year-old man in hospital with serious injuries.

"He has undergone surgery and is recovering from his injuries," said Det. Jason Shankaran when speaking with CBC News on Sunday afternoon.

Police later said they were seeking a 46-year-old male suspect who is wanted for attempted murder.

The suspect was arrested on Sunday afternoon.
