SWAT officers at Fort Worth apartment where man fled after shooting woman, police say

Law enforcement authorities on Wednesday morning are at a Fort Worth apartment where a man walked or ran after he shot a woman in the forearm, police said.

The woman was shot about 3:45 a.m. in a parking lot in the 900 block of East Harvey Avenue.

At 7:30 a.m., the suspect was not in custody. Fort Worth Police Department SWAT Unit officers are at the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital for the treatment of an injury that police said is not life-threatening.
