On the season finale of Tamar & Vince, we got an inside look at how the couple's last days of marriage went down. "I signed up to be married and spend my life with, you know, the love of my life and to go through trials and tribulations, but... I ain't signed up for this," said Tamar Braxton on the episode titled, "Bluebird Flies."
Ultimately, Tamar revealed that she felt like she didn't know who she was anymore, in the relationship, and she was tired of her now former husband Vincent Herbert's inability to at least try to fix their relationship issues. "I'm really tired of being unhappy. So, when I get home, I have to tell Vince I'm moving out. I really feel like I am left with no choice anymore, and I need to try to find some peace for me." So, she moved out. Except, she didn't exactly tell him.
After secretly purchasing her own apartment in Los Angeles, Tamar invited her two best friends over to share the news that she had moved out, while also revealing that she didn't tell Vince yet. "I'm just so scared to tell Vince about this apartment," said Tamar. "I just don't know what his reaction is going to be, but it is just something that has to happen." And when news broke online and on social media, ten days later, that Tamar filed for divorce from Vince, she also didn't quite tell him about that either. "So Vince found out the same time I found out on The Shade Room?" asked Tamar's utterly shocked friend.
Lack of communication aside, following her decision to leave Vince, Tamar explained that she needs to do what's best for her right now. "I can't say that I regret my decision," admitted Tamar. "Although he's hurt, although I know that I hurt him, I don't regret it. I don't have a plan. I just have to pray."
