For Christina Anstead, having an active and healthy lifestyle is key. Earlier this year, she released her first book, The Wellness Remodel, which she co-authored with friend and certified nutritionist, Cara Clark. The Wellness Remodel chronicles Anstead's health journey, from her autoimmune disease diagnosis, infertility struggles, and managing the stress of going through a divorce (well, now two divorces) in the public eye.

While Anstead is always looking for clean products to put in her body, there's one person who isn't as concerned: her ex-husband and Flip or Flop co-host, Tarek El Moussa. During the latest episode of the popular HGTV series, Anstead arrived at their latest flip with a little present for El Moussa.

"You're late," El Moussa said to her, as he ate a burrito. Anstead got out of her car with a cup of green juice in one hand and some little bottles in the other. "I got you something," she said, as she handed him one of the bottles. "Oh you know I hate those," he said as he took it from her, which Anstread later revealed was a turmeric and ginger shot.

After finishing his burrito, El Moussa sniffed the bottle: "How do you drink this crap?" he asked as they clinked their bottles. "Cheers," she said. "Oh god, that's just so terrible," he said immediately after drinking it.

Yesterday, El Moussa teased the scene on Instagram—and further conveyed his hate for the shots. "Can’t tell if she was trying to get me something to be nice, or trying to kill me," he wrote in his post. "Kidding," he wrote right after, and included a laughing emoji. He then asked fans how they felt about juice shots.

⁣"But really, do any of you drink these healthy juice shots everyday?! I know they’re supposed to be good for you but they are so terrible," he wrote.

Some fans agreed with El Moussa's stance on juice shots. "Nope I'm with you. I'd rather have a burrito," one person wrote in the comments. While other commenters were just happy Anstead and El Moussa continued filming the show following their divorce. "So sweet! Love your fun bantering! You guys show your kids how to coparent and still be loving towards one another," another fan wrote.

While El Moussa doesn't seem to be too keen on Anstead’s juice shots, his fiancée Heather Rae Young definitely takes a big interest in her health. Unlike Christina, Young is vegan. In a recent interview promoting her new protein powder blend, Young told trainer Massy Arias "I'm really conscious of what I put in my body," admitting that she tries not to eat sugar.

"So if I'm putting junk in my body, I'm not going to feel good. I'm going to be slow, I'm going to be tired. I'm not going to be as sharp, and I need to have energy for my lifestyle," she said.

Young, who is also a former pilates instructor, recently introduced her Chocolate Peanut Butter plant-based protein powder blend, made in collaboration with Tru Supplements. While El Moussa was very adamant about disliking the juice shot his ex-wife got him, it makes us wonder how he feels about Young’s signature powder. If he's not a tumeric and ginger shot guy, is he a smoothie guy?
