Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie is coming to SLO County. Here’s how to get tickets

Are you ready for it Central Coast, Swifties? The iconic pop star will soon grace the screens of one SLO County theater.

Just weeks after Taylor Swift finished her last stop on the first U.S. leg of her record-smashing Eras Tour, the singer announced she will be releasing a tour documentary to bring her show to even more fans.

The Eras Tour takes fans through each of Swift’s 10 albums — and 10 musical eras — over the past 17 years.

The movie is 2 hours and 45 minutes long, according to Fandango. This worried some Swifties — the live show runs just over three hours — but Variety reported all 45 songs from the setlist will be included in the film.

Opening night will be Oct. 13, and adult tickets are $19.89 while children and senior tickets are $13.13, numbers that will stand out to any true fan. “1989” is the name of her fifth studio album and next Taylor’s Version release (coming Oct. 27), while her favorite number is 13.

AMC Theatres, Cinemark and Regal all have show times extending from opening night through Nov. 4. All three theaters confirmed limited edition Taylor Swift popcorn buckets and drink cups will be for sale.

Regal Arroyo Grande is the only theater in San Luis Obispo County showing the film.

Tickets can be bought in advance on regmovies.com/theatres/regal-arroyo-grande or on fandango.com.

Two of the four show times on opening night were nearly sold out as of Thursday afternoon.

Eras Tour attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged, the singer said in a Tweet announcing the movie.

So prepare to sport your favorite Swiftie era, trade the friendship bracelets, and take the moment and taste it. It’s been a long time coming, SLO County Swifties.
