It's officially election day, and Taylor Swift is making sure her fans get the memo while commemorating the end of the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour.
On November 4, one day after performing the last stop of her mammoth tour on U.S. soil, Taylor Swift took to her Instagram account to pen a little note reminiscing on the last few concerts, as she usually does. Only this time, it doubled as a farewell to the tour in the U.S. and a voting PSA.
“Couldn’t have asked for a more magical way to end our U.S. shows on The Eras Tour,” the singer began her post, which included pictures of her last three shows in Indianapolis. “I know I’ll be looking back on this weekend and smiling because it was just like a dreamscape, all of it. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us on our last 3 American shows!! And here’s a friendly but extremely important reminder that tomorrow is the U.S. Election and your last chance to vote. 🗳️ 🇺🇸”
Swift's post arrived just hours before the polls began to open for the presidential election on November 5, 2024. Swift is not the only star encouraging fans to get out and vote if they haven't done so yet; Billie Eilish just did the same mid-concert in Atlanta.
Swift's reminder to vote comes months after she officially endorsed Kamala Harris during the presidential race. “I’m voting for [Kamala Harris] because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” Swift wrote at the time.

After the voting reminder, Swift signed off her recent Instagram post with excitement about the last few stops of the Eras Tour, which kicked off in 2023 and has had 140 stops across the world since. “There are only 9 shows left on The Eras Tour. I can’t believe we’re in single digits,” she wrote. “Next up: getting to finally see my beloved Canadian fans again!! See you 🔜 for 6 shows in Toronto!” The tour will officially wrap on December 8 in Vancouver.
