Team N.B. wins bronze medal at senior men's curling championships

New Brunswick's Terry Odishaw and his team have won the bronze medal at the Everest Canadian Seniors Curling Championships in Fredericton. 

Odishaw defeated Team Quebec 6-5. 

Team Alberta defeated Team Ontario 7-6 to win the gold medal. 

Odishaw, who ranked No. 1, lost 8-5 in the playoff rounds against Team Ontario, which was ranked No. 4. 

The N.B. team won all 10 games in round-robin play and championship play at the week-long event. Team members include Odishaw, backed by third Mike Kennedy, second Marc LeCocq and lead Grant Odishaw. 

Team Alberta and Team Quebec played in the 2 vs 3 game. Team Alberta won 10-3.  

Both games were played at Willie O'Ree Place.
