Girl named 'Ikea' after mum saw TV ad has to change name due to bullying
A teenager who was named 'Ikea' after her mum saw an advert for the company while she was pregnant has had to change her name due to school bullying.
Jasmine Dagless, 19, said she legally changed her name after putting up with years of teasing, including being called "flat pack" in a reference to the Swedish furniture store.
She now uses her middle name, and has kept her former first name as her middle name instead after changing her name in 2014 at the age of 12.

The teen, from Norwich, who has only actually visited Ikea once, said her mum agreed to the name change, but her family continued calling her by the name, or 'Kea' for short.
She said: "I used to get called flat pack quite a lot at primary school.
"The bullying really shocked me because young children don't know about Ikea.
"I legally changed my name when I was in secondary school. It's only legally that I get called Jasmine. My family still call me Ikea, or 'Kea' for short."
Dagless, who works as an NHS admin assistant, said her family had benefited from perks from Ikea after she was born, including toys and a free sofa.
She said she has stayed loyal to the brand by kitting out her flat with furniture from the famous Swedish company and plans to visit her local Ikea on a sentimental trip, adding: "I went to Ikea when I was one or two but as an adult I've never been - I really want to go."
