Teenage boy charged with rape and kidnap of woman near Harrow school
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the rape of a woman near Harrow School.
The teenager also faces a count of kidnap and two counts of attempted robbery.
He was due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Met Police said officers were called just before midnight on Saturday to a report of rape near Church Hill, Harrow-on-the-Hill.
A statement said: “Police were called at 23:45hrs on Saturday, 2 November to reports that a woman, aged in her 20s, had been raped on Church Hill, Harrow-on-the-Hill.
Detective Sergeant Phil Inman said: “We know this incident will cause much concern and anxiety in the area, especially for women and girls, and we would like to confirm that we are not seeking any other suspects in connection with this investigation.”
