Teens charged with assault after bullying incident in C.B.S.

Man, 24, charged with forcible confinement, assault in Paradise

Two teenage girls have been charged so far in a bullying case that resulted in an assault at a home in Conception Bay South last week.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to a home on Scotts Road South around 2 a.m. Friday.

It appeared to be an ongoing bullying incident that resulted in a break-in and assault.

Four youths showed up to the home where another youth was, and forced their way into the house.

They caused some damage, and assaulted a woman in the home.

Two girls, ages 14 and 17, have since been charged with break and enter, assault, uttering threats and mischief.

However, police said it's an ongoing investigation, and further charges could be laid.

All of the youths involved were known to each other, police said.
