Tensions flare over Anglican church burned down on Gitwangak First Nation

An 108-year-old Anglican church was destroyed by a fire Thursday night on the Gitwangak First Nation’s land. It’s the latest church to burn down after the discovery of unmarked graves of Indigenous residential school children. Indigenous leaders are condemning the vandalism.
