Terrace inland port public hearing set for Thursday evening

·1 min read

The City of Terrace is holding a virtual public hearing for the proposed inland port development in Terrace at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14.

Due to the provincial public health orders banning gatherings, the hearing will use the Microsoft Teams platform. The hearing can be accessed by computer or mobile device. For people who have never used Teams before, the city held a test session on January 6.

The hearing will also be streamed live over Facebook and the city’s website, for people who simply want to watch without participating.

The city has set up a dedicated web page for information about the proposed inland port, including a timeline of events and answers to frequently asked questions. That page can be found at www.terrace.ca/proposed-inland-port
