Tessa Virtue is channeling her inner Barbie.
On Monday, the 32-year-old Canadian figure skater took to Instagram to share a four-photo collage of herself posing in front of a mirror, wearing a white and black Barbie swimsuit with her more than 430,000 followers.
"Happiness comes in waves," the Olympic gold-medalist captioned the post.
The former ice dancer's photo was met with praise from fans who loved her choice of swimwear.
"Love the Barbie bathing suit!" one Instagram user commented, while another added, "Is that a Barbie swimsuit? Really cool."
"Go off, Barbie girl! You look fantastic. Love this pic!" someone else wrote.
"Where'd you get your Barbie bathing suit?" someone asked. "Stunning!"
"Love the bathing suit!" another commenter echoed.
"Barbie Tessa Jane!" penned another, alongside a pink heart emoji.
In June 2021, Virtue opened up about her new career path now that she's officially retired from professional skating.
"I started my executive MBA at Smith School of Business, which has been an incredible challenge, one that I’d been longing to do for quite some time," she told The Kit. "And I’ve also started a corporate job, which has been both terrifying and really exhilarating. It’s been great to dive in and get that actual work experience that I’ve been lacking.”
She explained that while many of the skills she acquired as an athlete were transferable, there's still a lot to learn.
"I was slow to come to see that or accept it because I sort of felt like I needed to totally redefine myself," she said. "I realized there was a huge skill-set and so much knowledge that I needed to acquire in order to be successful beyond skating."
