Tessa Virtue shares her dog's reaction to her Barbie doll: 'Why are you in in a box?'
Tessa Virtue's dog has some concerns about her Barbie.
On Monday, the former Olympian shared an adorable video with her 430,000 Instagram followers.
The video showed her dog Zoë investigating the Tessa Virtue doll that Barbie released for their 60th anniversary.
In the clip, Zoë sniffs the box holding the doll and stares at it curiously after Virtue asks her, "Who's that?"
"Zoë is very interested in the TV Barbie," the 33-year-old ice dancer captioned the post.
Virtue's Barbie wears a red sparkly dress, identical to the one she wore at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Games where she and her partner Scott Moir won their second gold medal.
Virtue's candid Reel garnered a warm response from fans.
"Hahaha, she’s like 'Mom, why are you in a box?'" an Instagram user wrote, while another added, "Zoë really said, 'mom?!'"
"Haha, she knows it’s you!" someone else pointed out.
One fan commented: "Zoë's probably wondering how you got in there."
"Aww, this is so cute! She recognizes you haha," wrote another.
"Zoë looks at your Barbie, then at you — how funny! She is super smart!" a fan chimed in.
The doll, made after the Canadian athlete was announced in 2019 on International Women's Day as part of Barbie's "Role Models" series. Their website dubbed Virtue "one-half of a team known for their legendary elegance, athleticism, innovation, and their unparalleled ability to skate in unison."

"The Barbie Role Model program is Mattel's way of honouring women who are breaking boundaries to inspire the next generation of girls. Tessa, like other honourees, was chosen because through hard work, determination and dedication, she shows girls every day that you can be anything," Mattel's brand manager, Lisa Perry, said in a statement at the time.
A few other familiar names joined Virtue for the Role Model series, including Ashley Graham, Naomi Osaka, Amelia Earhart, Ava Duvernay and Ita Buttrosem who each got their own dolls as well.
