Texas police officer wrangles alligator on resident's front porch
Aug. 27 (UPI) -- A Texas police officer used his bare hands to wrangle an alligator found trespassing on a family's front porch.
The Fulshear Police Department posted a video to Facebook showing a body camera's perspective of the events that transpired when Lt. Bill Henry was called to a Fulshear home.
Henry brought a catch pole to the scene, but ended up using his bare hands to grab the gator when he discovered it was small.
Alligators are a protected species in Texas, where it's illegal to attempt to relocate the reptiles without official assistance.
