THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Tree Farm Skidder stolen earlier this month.

OPP received a report of a stolen skidder on March 4 from the area of Allan and Earl Road in Marks Township, according to a news release.

Police say the skidder was last seen in the summer of 2020 parked off Allan Road in that area.

It is described as an older C5 Tree Farm skidder, faded light green colour and has no engine covers or ignition with a spare tire on the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle has chains on the front wheels and the tires are worn down to approximately 30 per cent tread, police say.

The vehicle is approximately 50 years old and has a value between $10,000 to $12,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
