TikTok dumbfounded by clever hack to revive worn-out clothes: 'You just saved me so much money'

A TikToker went viral thanks to a handy sweatpants hack.

Athleisure and lounge clothing certainly have made a comeback during the lockdown. With more people staying home and isolating, comfort is a priority.

If you’ve been hanging out in the same pair of joggers day after day, you’ll appreciate TikToker Lauren’s simple trick to upgrade them and make them look as good as new.

Lauren’s pale pink sweatpants were a little rundown and were covered in pills. She took a simple body razor and shaved one of the pant legs while she was still wearing the clothing item. Then she compared the freshly shaven pant leg to the other one. It looked nearly brand new.

TikTokers approved of the shaving technique and the video racked up 2.4 million views.

“You just saved me so much money right now,” one user commented.

“TikTok is more educational than school. That’s a fact,” another wrote.

“LMAO. You just saved my whole bank account. I’m gonna go do this,” someone said.

Now of course there are fabric shavers and lint removers already on the market. But if you’re in a pinch or don’t watch to shell out a few bucks for a new product, using an old razor is clearly just as effective.
