A new TikTok trend promises to find your “birth color” based on the day, month and year you were born.

Finding your “color” online is easy. All you have to do is head to Google and type in your date of birth as a six-digit number plus the word color. What should show up is a color picker set to a hex code that matches your birthday.

Many TikTokers have created videos sharing their scarily accurate birth colors.

One user named Monika shared her “birth color,” which is a beautiful shade of pink. “Pink is my fav [color],” she revealed in the caption.

Another user named Maihua shared their birth color — a shade of dark green — and made a tour of their bedroom, which is decked out in green items. “Why is this accurate?!?” they said.

A third user named Julia shared her birth color — a shade of dark red — and then pulled a bunch of items from her closet to reveal that red is one of her favorite colors.

Of course, not everyone has been getting accurate results. Many people have shared that their “color” was just black — which makes sense since many TikTokers were born in the 2000s and six-digit hex codes ending in 01, 02, 03 and so on correspond to very dark colors.

Still, go ahead and give this trend a try. Maybe you’ll come across a new favorite color!
