Tiktok viral Mexican restaurant opening in Bellingham, full of vibrant margaritas and food
A new restaurant is opening in Bellingham’s Sunset Square shopping center, where Latitude Kitchen & Bar used to be.
COA Mexican Eatery and Tequileria, a restaurant with locations in Mount Vernon and La Conner, is expanding its reach and bringing its mouthwatering food to Bellingham.
The new location will open Monday, Nov. 13, according to an email from Omar Sandoval, owner of the Mount Vernon location and public relations representative for COA.
“We are super excited and blessed to be able to serve our Whatcom Community. We can’t wait to be part of it,” Sandoval wrote. Sandoval’s sister, Alondra Saval Delgado, will be the owner of the new Bellingham location.
The restaurant’s menu includes housemade guacamole, a variety of margaritas, fish tacos, enchiladas, ceviche, fajitas, burritos and other authentic Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is also known for its discounted taco Tuesdays.
The restaurant is also popular online, with 119.3 thousand followers and 4 million likes on TikTok, where the eatery frequently shows off its colorful margaritas and authentic dishes.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 pm. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at 1065 E Sunset Dr. in Bellingham.
