TikToker gives out hilariously concerning relationship advice: ‘I want to do a research study on you’

A man on TikTok has become popular for his interesting and questionable dating advice, with some users ready to dissect his psyche.

Daniel Hentschel (@danhentschel) has received hundreds of millions of views for his tongue-in-cheek, purposefully outrageous dating hacks. In one of his videos, Hentschel shares that he secretly blows out birthday candles every time he and his partner share a happy moment. This way, his partner associates the smell of birthday candles with him, ensuring they will think about him whenever they blow out birthday candles.

“The Pavlov of the 21st century,” said @graceandeleganced.

“I wanna know what’s going on in his head,” replied @sgt.sadder.

Hentschel has several of these videos, instructing TikTokers to go to extreme lengths to be in control of their relationships.

In one of his most recent videos, which currently has over 1.5 million views, he details how to make anyone fall in love with you.

“First, I find a picture of some random old people. Then I take a picture from my date’s social media and a picture of me, make us both old and photoshop us into the picture,” he started.

He then pretends the photo is of his grandparents.

“This subconsciously makes us in the future their model of an idea relationship,” he continued.

Viewers took to the comments to express their opinions on his strategy.

“I want to do a research study on you,” said @lhe.g.

“Netflix finna make a series all about you,” joked @gabee_93.

Hentschel’s videos don’t just stick to the dating world. His video about an “If I go missing” binder received over 9 million views. Some people thought they were getting actual safety tips, only to be hilariously tricked.

“I really thought this was going to be helpful life advice,” @villa5019 laughingly said.

From dating to survival tips, Hentschel is making sure his viewers on TikTok have some of the most unique advice they’ve ever heard.
