Time to get dirty! Mud Fest coming to Grand Falls-Windsor
A town in central Newfoundland is challenging people to get down and dirty for its first-ever mud festival.
Grand Falls-Windsor town councillor Amy Coady-Davis says there are events planned for the entire Mud Fest 2015 weekend, scheduled to start June 12.
With three large mud pits and a pool, the town expects hundreds of ATV, Jeep and truck owners from across the island to attend.
Some of the events, though, will require a clean set of clothes.
"We've got a dinner and a dance planned, some social activities," said Coady-Davis.
"We've got a trail run planned for across the river, behind the mill. It'll be a full weekend."
