‘Tis the season for sidewalk, curb repair in Brighton

·1 min read

Some of Brighton’s curbs and sidewalks will be getting a facelift.

The annual municipal sidewalk and curb repair program begins April 26 and continues throughout the spring, weather permitting. Sidewalks will be replaced or repaired at various locations in the urban area.

Property owners should be aware that there may be some short-term interruptions in access to properties, driveways and parking, the municipality noted in a news release.

“Efforts will be made to provide directly-affected residents and businesses at least 48 hours of notice in an effort to minimize disruptions.”

Property owners with any concerns regarding access to their properties, can call Scott Poole at 613-475-1162, extension 102 or send an e-mail to spoole@brighton.ca.
