Did the Titans new uniforms get leaked online before the reveal?

The Tennessee Titans are making a big deal out of their new uniform reveal on Wednesday, including a concert by Florida Georgia Line afterward.

As it turns out, the uniforms might have been revealed early, with no concert involved.

A photo of what appears to be the Titans’ new jerseys was circulating on Twitter. There’s no confirmation the leaked jersey is real, but if not someone went through a lot of trouble to design a new Titans jersey that looks pretty authentic. The NFL was investigating the source of the photograph, the Tennessean reported.

The most striking thing about the alleged new jerseys is they really don’t look that much different than the old ones.

There are differences between the old uniforms and the one being passed around on Twitter. The numbers are different. The shoulders on the purported new uniforms are white, not light blue, and there’s no logo on the sleeve. But overall it still looks pretty familiar.

The NHL’s Nashville Predators had some fun with the rumors of a leak.

We’ll get to see the full uniform on Wednesday, and see if the one that was leaked was the real deal or just a really elaborate hoax. If that is the new jersey, the NFL and the Titans have to wonder how it got revealed before the team’s big show.
