TLC has a new reality show about mama’s boys, Anne Hathaway plays a witch and more of this week's best in pop culture
TLC’s new reality show, “I Love a Mama’s Boy” is about exactly what it sounds like. Four young women compete for the affection of their significant others, while dealing with some seriously overbearing mothers. It’s a love triangle of the most awkward kind. Will these relationships survive a third wheel? “I Love a Mama’s Boy” premieres Sunday, Oct. 25 on TLC. Robert Zemeckis along with Kenya Barris and Guillermo del Toro bring the children’s novel “The Witches” to life. The novel, by Roald Dahl, was previously adapted into the 1990 movie starring Anjelica Houston. In the new version Anne Hathaway is taking over the role of head witch in charge. The film also stars Chris Rock, Octavia Spencer and Stanley Tucci. “The Witches” premieres Thursday, Oct. 22 on HBO Max.
