Toddler can’t find his fork

[Pssst…it’s in your hand, little man/YouTube]

A video of a baby asking for his fork while he holds the utensil is a good – and unquestionably adorable - reminder that sometimes it helps to pay close attention before you make a fuss.

The clip, titled Cute Tot Can’t Find Fork, shows a blond toddler in a high chair with a lobster bib on. In front of him are a sippy cup and a bowl filled with noodles and green beans. He clenches a fork in his right hand.

“Ma fork,” he cries to his mom in distress.

When she asks him where it is, he quickly replies: “I no no.”

Off camera, another child can be heard saying, “It’s right there!”

The little boy looks in his bowl of food and continues to dispel his family’s guidance.

“No no,” he says.

The more his mother and sibling press him to look at his hand, the louder he responds, “I no no!”

Finally, the mother points to the baby’s hand.

“It’s right there in your hand,” she laughs. He looks to his hand, relieved.

“I find him,” he says and takes a good look at the utensil before happily digging into his bowl of food.

Let’s hope this baby doesn’t need glasses one day. We suspect he’d “lose” them on top of his head.
